You can make lots of free activities something really special for children with a little bit of planning, maybe take a flask of hot chocolate to your local park or take something to hide along the way – little toys are great, and it keeps kids walking without moaning! My Mini Mumbler loves going for walks in the dark with ‘his’ torch, I go on a few steps ahead and hide a little toy or chocolate coin along the path, which he uses his torch to find, ideal for the darker evenings!
