Stockport is really coming back to life as restrictions begin to ease and although we’re not out of the Covid woods just yet, there’s plenty going on locally to begin to ease us all back to normality. Here’s a quick round up of what’s on in July and beyond.
Stockport’s Gigantic Leap
Remember the Stockport frogs? We had such fun following the trail and spotting them all.
Well, they are returning for 2021! In 2019, Stockport’s Giant Leap Frog Art Trail attracted thousands and thousands of new visitors, residents and families of all ages to the town centre. It was fantastic to see so many excited children (and big children) seeking out all 19 giant frogs on the trail, later to be joined by 3 visiting frogs.
This summer’s Gigantic Leap Frog Art Trail 2021 will see 21 brand new, gigantic frogs hopping into the town centre. And not only that, their frog buddies will be hopping to locations across the whole borough.
The trail will run from mid 24th July to 26th September 2021. Watch this space!
