School Holidays Stockport

Summer Holidays

There’s so much to see and do in Stockport this Summer and much of it is free or fairly cheap, so no need to break the bank trying to keep the kids busy during the holidays.  Hopefully this page will give you a few ideas, whether you’re planning ahead or trying to fill an empty day.  As always, please check ahead with the venue before you travel – especially if it’s an outdoor event and the weather isn’t great.  The page will be updated with any new activities we hear about so be sure to check back periodically.  Also, be sure to check out the  Events Calendar for one off events such as fun days etc.

Taking place Tuesdays in August at Bramhall Methodist Church from 10am – 2pm, the children’s art summer club is an exciting opportunity for kids to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills during the holiday term!

Children will have the chance to learn about different art styles and techniques, as well as make new friends and have fun!

Spaces are limited to ensure all children get the same level of attention and we would please ask that children bring their own packed lunch.

Bessie is a mum, artist, trained art teacher and trainee art psychotherapist with an enhanced DBS and NHS core skills training in learning difficulties and autism, child safe-guarding and first-aid.
