Come along and meet GMP’s Police Horse unit at The Garden House! This has proved to be a very popular event in the past, and we’ll be hosting it again this year on 18th August 2019.
Even though our timings are 12-2pm, these timings are subject to the horses being called in should there be an incident they need to attend.
Whilst we do have a large car park, but on our busier days and for popular events such as this one, it’s likely to fill up pretty fast!
We encourage our visitors to be mindful of the local residents and park in a safe and considerate manner. We discourage visitors parking on Lakes Road (the road down to The Garden House), as this blocks traffic on the road, and could prevent access for emergency vehicles.
We therefore encourage our visitors to either walk to The Garden House, get the bus or get the train (Marple Train Station and St Martin’s Bus Stop are both just a 10 minute walk away)!
