Description
The Understanding Your Toddler workshop will help you to: find out about toddler behaviour, develop strategies to support your child, and communicate more effectively with your toddler. Designed for parents with a toddler (age 18 months to 2 1/2 years) or those with a younger child who are looking to prepare for the next stage of development, this 2-hour workshop is filled with information and tips.
What you’ll get:
* Tips for dealing with tantrums and other common toddler behaviour such as hitting and biting.
* A better understanding of child development from an early years professional.
* Communication strategies to support children’s behaviour and lay good foundations for life.
About the facilitator:
Jenny Neill runs Connect Emotional Education. With a background as a teacher and school SENCO, she is also trained further in Emotional Education. Learning about the neuroscience behind emotions and relationships changed everything for Jenny, both in the classroom and as a parent.
Jenny now shares this knowledge with parents to help them understand their children’s emotions and behaviour. All behaviour is communication-based – Jenny helps parents understand what their child is trying to say, and how to communicate more effectively together for a smoother journey through life.
