Tour of Britain and Greater Manchester Police will be operating a rolling road closure for 15 to 20 minutes along the length of the route in Stockport. As soon as the cyclists have passed, the roads will be reopened.
The route will pass through the following locations at the following times:
Woodford – 11.23am
Bramhall – 11.28am
Hazel Grove – 11.33am
High Lane – 11.40am
Marple – 11.48am
Compstall – 11.53am
Werneth Low – 11.56am
In addition there will be two temporary road closures on Wybersley Road/The Ridge and Cowlishaw Road between 8am and 2pm.
Matrix boards have been located at key junctions (Marple, High Lane and Hazel Grove) along the route notifying motorists of travel disruption and referring them to www.thetour.co.uk for more information.
Signage has also been put in place at either end of Wybersley Road/The Ridge and Cowlishaw Road making motorists aware of the closures.
