Regain your strength post birth with this fun baby wearing workout.
Babies at the Barre offers a Post Natal exercise class where you can regain your strength post birth whilst wearing your baby! The classes are run by local mum of two Caroline. Caroline is a qualified pre and post natal fitness instructor and dance fanatic. Barre is a fusion of Pilates and Ballet (don’t worry, no dance experience needed) it is great for rebuilding the core, toning up and burning calories in a safe and gentle way. Working out with your baby is great for bonding, meeting other new mums and there’s no need to arrange childcare!
Please only attend after your post natal check with your health care practitioner and when you feel ready and happy to exercise.
The class will consist of 50 mins exercise for you and your baby to enjoy together. The last 10 minutes of the class are for relaxation, breathing and feeding, changing and chatting with fellow mums. No dance experience needed and the class is suitable for all fitness levels.
What to bring with you –
Your Baby and everything your baby needs, feeding, nappy changing.
A comfortable baby carrier that you and baby are both happy and secure to wear while moving around when performing standing and Barre exercises.
A blanket for your baby to lie on next to you for floor exercises.
